New Director of Sales Joins Lawrenceburg Event Center and Hollywood Casino

Dearborn County's Christy King brings 25 years of sales experience in Cincinnati market.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg and the Lawrenceburg Event Center have hired a new Director of Sales to oversee group sales efforts at both properties in downtown Lawrenceburg.

“We are excited to welcome aboard Christy King as our new Director of Sales,” said Mike Galle, President and General Manager at Hollywood Casino and Lawrenceburg Event Center. “Christy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Tri-State hospitality industry that is going to help us continue to grow our groups, meetings and weddings businesses.”

In her role as Director of Sales, King will direct all group sales efforts for the 298-room casino hotel, the 168-room event center DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, and the event center and casino meeting/event spaces. She is a long-time resident of Dearborn County and a graduate of East Central High School in St. Leon, Indiana.

A hotel industry veteran with 25 years sales experience in the Cincinnati market, King most recently served for six years as the Director of Sales & Catering at Holiday Inn Cincinnati North/West Chester, Centre Park of West Chester and Holiday Inn Express Liberty Way. Prior to that, she was the Director of Sales for Commonwealth Hotels Inc. from 2016 to 2018 and the Area Sales Manager for Drury Hotels in Northern Cincinnati from 2006 to 2016.

The public is invited to an Open House to tour the Lawrenceburg Event Center, as well as meet a variety of vendors who work with the facility to put on events, from noon to 5pm Sunday, March 24. The event center, conveniently located at 91 Walnut Street, downtown Lawrenceburg features an 18,000-square-foot exhibition/concert facility, 7,500-square-foot ballroom, 12,000-square-feet of meeting rooms and the 150 seat No’ce Italian American Kitchen & Bar.
