(Lawrenceburg, IN) — The Lawrenceburg Police Department, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, the Dearborn County Health Department, and the DEA, are inviting people to participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26.

This event encourages community members to safely dispose of unused or expired medications and needles, helping to combat medication misuse and keep local families safe.

The event will take place from ten to two at the Dearborn County Fairgrounds parking lot. This offers a convenient drive-through option for participants with no questions asked.

Cleaning out your cabinets creates more space and reduces the risk of accidental ingestion and misuse.

Inhalers, oxygen tanks, thermometers, and nebulizer machines will not be accepted at this event.

Join your community in taking a proactive step towards a healthier and safer environment. For more information, contact the Lawrenceburg Police Department or visit their website.
