Multiple Tornados Confirmed in Ohio on Sunday

Tornados confirmed in Butler, Fayette, and Warren counties.

(Ohio) - Sunday's storm resulted in multiple tornado warnings among local counties. There was siding from pole barns blown off, multiple trees down, and even one that landed on a vehicle. Just north in Butler, Fayette, and Warren Ohio counties tornados have been confirmed.

In Fayette County, an EF-1 tornado touched down. It formed along SR 734 and traveled for about 250 yards. Several trees were snapped, and an outbuilding was destroyed. Wind speeds were estimated to be around 90 mph. In Jefferson Crossing multiple RVs were flipped at a local RV business.

A tornado touched down near Hamilton Eaton Road just north of New Miami, Ohio, and traveled east-northeast. This was classified as an EF-0. The tornado caused damage to several mobile homes, some with substantial roof and siding damage. At least 2 moved from their foundation but are still standing. There were also numerous trees either uprooted or with the tops snapped in this area. Estimated wind speed in this area was 75 to 80 mph. 

An EF-0 tornado developed in West Chester in Butler County, near the intersection of Tylersville Road and Lady Anne Drive, where some trees were downed, and minor house damage occurred. The tornado traveled east across Interstate 75, causing tree damage before moving across VOA Park. In the park, an outbuilding was toppled, and several soccer goals were scattered throughout the grounds.
