Multiple Agencies Respond to Barn Fire in Jennings County

(Jennings County, Ind.) - Multiple agencies responded to a barn fire on Wednesday night. 

Letts Fire was dispatched with Westport Fire to the 5600 block of E. County Road 900 North in Jennings County for a fully involved barn fire. 

The fire spread to a car near the structure. Both the barn and the car are total losses. Units were on scene for approximately two hours to extinguish the blaze. 

No injuries were reported.

A cause of the fire is unknown at this time. 

Letts Fire responded with Tankers 440, 444, Utility 462, Ambulance 445, and 2 POVs. Departments on scene included Letts, Westport, Campbell Township, North Vernon Fire Department, Jennings County EMS.
