Miracle On Main Co-Creator Passes Away At 48

(Aurora, Ind.) – A man that helped create Miracle on Main Street in Aurora has passed away.

Donald Lee Frantz died at his home in Aurora on Monday at the age of 48. 

Frantz along with Dave and Judy Hizer and Benjamin and Nancy Turner originated Miracle on Main Street in 2004. The annual event brings Christmas cheer to the City of Aurora and its nearby residents.

in a Facebook post Tuesday, Main Street Aurora expressed their deepest condolences to the Frantz family. 

Aside from helping create Miracle on Main, Frantz was the owner of a taxi business and other business ventures.

Visitation for Frantz will be held at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home in Aurora on Sunday, August 4 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Service will follow.

Donations to Aurora EMS can be made in Frantz’s memory.
