Milan School Board President Passes Away

(Milan, Ind.) – The Milan community is mourning the passing of school board president Jerry Gauck.

Gauck passed away last Friday at the age of 82.

The Greensburg native was a lifetime farmer and community servant who was a board member for the Cincinnati Credit Union, the Indiana Corn Growers Board, Ripley County Farm Bureau, St. Elizabeth Hospital Patient Advisory Board, and the Milan School Board.

Family and friends will gather in remembering Gauck from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan.

Memorials may be given to Masses or the Indiana 4-H Foundation.
