Man Accused of Shoving Milan Youth Football Player Turns Himself In

A jury trial has been scheduled.

(Versailles, Ind.) - The man accused of shoving a 10-year-old youth football player from Milan has turned himself in. 

Leon Morales, 50, of Cincinnati, is facing a charge of Battery on a Person Less than 14 Years Old (Level 6 Felony) after an alleged incident in early September at the Milan football fields. 

A warrant for his arrest was issued on September 30. 

Morales has since turned himself in to Ripley County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000. 

A jury trial is scheduled for January 20, 2026.
