Mail Will Not Run Thursday for National Day of Mourning

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Postal Service will not be delivering mail on Thursday.

This is due to National Day of Mourning, which was declared by President Biden to honor the life of President Jimmy Carter.

The official state funeral for Carter will be held on Thursday at the Washington National Cathedral.

The Postal Service will not deliver mail, and its offices and facilities will be closed.

Regular activities and services will resume Friday.
