(Madison, Ind.) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle (ORV) accident that took place late Sunday night in Madison.
Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Dugan Hollow Road around 10:55 p.m.
Upon arrival, it was determined that Brent Vanwye, 31, was operating his side-by-side ORV when he lost control on a curve and left the roadway becoming entrapped.
Vanwye was extracted and transported to Kings’s Daughters’ Health in serious condition.
Conservation officers say Vanwye was wearing a safety harness at the time of the accident, but was not wearing a helmet.
