Logan Lawrence Honored as Lawrenceburg Citizen of the Year

Lawrence was recognized at Lawrenceburg Fall Music Fest.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Logan Lawrence is this year's Lawrenceburg Citizen of the Year.

Lawrence was recognized on Saturday night at Lawrenceburg Fall Music Fest.

He has been instrumental in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the ALS Association through his annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS Car Show each May in downtown Lawrenceburg.

This past May, the car show raised a record $53,200.

Since the inception of the event eight years ago, Lawrence's car show has raised over $263,000 for the ALS Association. Proceeds go towards ALS medical research and aiding patients with financial aid.

"It was a pretty cool honor to be awarded the City of Lawrenceburg Citizen of the Year. A huge thank you to Mayor Mollaun, council, and all the City of Lawrenceburg staff for everything they do for the community and the Annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS to make it what it is. On top of that we got to meet and listen to Walker Montgomery and Dillon Carmichael perform," said Lawrence in a Facebook post.
