Small cities and towns can receive up to a 75 percent match for their transportation investment.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation today announced that the agency will begin accepting applications on Monday, August 6, 2018 for matching funds for shovel-ready local construction projects through Community Crossings, the State’s local road and bridge matching grant program.

Projects that are eligible for funding through Community Crossings include road resurfacing, bridge rehabilitation, road reconstruction, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance in connection with road projects. Material costs for chip sealing and crack filling operations are also eligible for funds.
