LMU Begins Electric Meter Testing Next Week

Testing will continue for the next two months and customers will experience momentary outages while their meter is tested.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities is scheduling electric meter testings starting Monday, November 9th which will continue over the next 2 months.  LMU customers will experience momentary electric outages of approximately fifteen minutes while their meter is tested. 

Current electric meter test schedule to date:

  • Monday November 9th, 2020 LMU Customers on Canal Street, Dunn Street, Fox Drive, Martin Luther King Drive, and the block of Margaret Street between George Street and Canal Street.  
  • Tuesday November 10th, 2020 LMU Customers on George Street, St. Clair Street and the block of Euphemia Street between George Street and St. Clair Street, as well as the block of Margaret Street between George Street and St. Clair Street.
  • Wednesday November 11th, 2020 LMU Customers on Arch Street, the block of Euphemia Street between Arch Street and St. Clair Street, the block of Margaret Street between Arch Street and St. Clair Street, as well as the block of Center Street between Arch Street and St. Clair Street.

Please note electric meter testing schedule is subject to change and weather dependent.
