Lifelong Harrison Resident Appointed to City Council

A vacancy was left on City Council by Lexis Dole, who is moving outside the city.

(Harrison, Oh.) – There is a new member of Harrison City Council.

Ray Acra was sworn-in on October 1, filling the vacancy left by Lexis Dole, who is moving outside the city.

Acra, a lifelong Harrison resident, will complete Dole’s term, which runs through the end of 2025.

He once served two years on City Council from a previous appointment.

Acra has also served on the City’s Charter Review Committee and Civil Service Commission and has worked for the Hamilton County Auditor and Hamilton County Recorder, and has served the Republican Party for 45 years with over two decades as Ward Chairman for the City of Harrison and Harrison Township.
