Lawrenceburg Speedway Announces Plans for 1st Annual Justin Owen Memorial

The Harrison native tragically lost his life in a sprint car crash last April.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg Speedway have finalized plans for the 1st annual Justin Owen Memorial Race.

Owen, the Lawrenceburg Speedway Track Champion in 2022, tragically lost his life in a sprint car crash at Lawrenceburg Speedway last April.

He was 26.

A race in his memory will take place on Saturday, April 13 with USAC national sprint cars.

The event will pay $5,400 to the winner and will feature several other awards including an award based on the sales of the Justin Owen Memorial T-Shirt sales.
