Lawrenceburg Schools to Host Dual Language Culture Immersion Night

The event will take place on March 12.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Community members are invited to celebrate the learning of Lawrenceburg students. 

Lawrenceburg Community Schools will host a Spanish Dual Language Immersion Cultural Night on Wednesday, March 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lawrenceburg High School. 

This event will showcase the K-6 dual language immersion program that was launched in 2019. The program has students spend half of their day learning in Spanish and the other half learning in English. 

Entertainment includes Spanish songs, rhymes, dances, and a play during the grade-level showcases. 

Other festivities include exhibits, videos, and photo booths before performances start at 5:30 or after the performances until 7:30.
