Lawrenceburg River Sweep Happens September 16

Volunteers are needed.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Community members are invited to help clean up the Ohio riverfront.

Lawrenceburg’s annual River Sweep will take place Saturday, September 16 from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Volunteers are asked to meet on Walnut Street at the Clock Tower at 8:30 AM to register.

Gloves, buckets, trash pickers, shovels, water and lunch will be provided.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear bug spray, sturdy boots or tennis shoes, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses to protect themselves.
