KSP Investigating Skeletal Remains Located in Carroll County

The remains were found near Ghent.

(Carroll County, Ky.) - Kentucky State Police were called on Monday evening to assist the Carroll County Sheriff's Office in reference to skeletal remains that were located. 

According to Kentucky State Police, the skeletal remains were located on a bank of the Ohio River near Ghent. 

The remains will be transported to the Louisville Medical Examiners Office. 

No further information was provided as the investigation is ongoing.
