KSP Investigating Fatal Crash in Carroll County

The crash involved a passenger vehicle and a horse and buggy.

(Carroll County, Ky.) - On Sunday, Troopers from KSP Post 5 responded to a two-vehicle collision in Carroll County resulting in serious injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a white 2010 Nissan Altima driven by Daniel Crawford (44) of Carrollton, rear-ended a horse and buggy with three juveniles.

The three juveniles were transported to Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville for life-threatening injuries and are currently receiving treatment.

As of Monday morning, KSP reports that one of the juveniles has passed away. 

The crash remains under investigation.
