Photo provided. (Columbus, Ind.) - Ivy Tech Community College has appointed two new members to its regional leadership team. Dr. Rebecca Rahschulte has accepted appointment to the position of Dean of the University and Transfer Division based at the Lawrenceburg campus. Her appointment was effective November 16. Dr. Pryze Smith has accepted appointment to the position of Dean of the Business and Public and Social Services Division at the Madison campus. His appointment is effective January 1. Both deans will serve in regional positions and will have responsibilities for the curriculum within their schools and administrative oversight. Dr. Rahschulte joined Ivy Tech over 11 years ago and most recently has served the Lawrenceburg campus as the Interim Dean of the University and Transfer Division and Chair of the Social/Behavioral Sciences & Humanities Program. She has experience as an adjunct, assistant, and associate professor of psychology and has served on a number of campus, regional, and statewide committees to advance the College’s globalization, student engagement and retention, and curriculum. Dr. Smith has over 15 years of exemplary experience in education, training, research, technology, marketing, and business analytics. He currently serves as an assistant professor of business administration at the Stevenson University Brown School of Business and Leadership in Owings Mills, Maryland. Previously, Dr. Smith held faculty positions at Indiana University, Ball State University, and Northern Kentucky University.
