Indianapolis Man Arrested After Allegedly Molesting A 13-Year-Old Girl

The man will have his initial hearing in the case today, April 3.

(Greendale, Ind.) - A Fishers man is being charged with three counts of child molestation and one count of child solicitation after a meeting with a 13-year-old girl last week.

The alleged incident took place about a week after the two individuals met through an app.

Corey Frank, 36, started communicating with the 13-year-old through the Snapchat app. The two agreed to meet at the community center in Harrison, OH where he picked her up and took her to a hotel in Greendale.

According to the probable cause affidavit, once at the hotel, Frank allegedly forced her to have sex with him multiple times.

In a forensic interview, the 13-year-old told police that Frank had said he was 18-years-old and wanted to hang out.

Frank allegedly claimed that the girl told him that she was a month away from turning 18.

Dearborn-Ohio County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens warns parents following the arrest of Corey Frank.

"The internet, while it can certainly be a positive connection in times like we are in, also unfortunately continues to be a dangerous place where child predators lurk. We would never let a stranger on our property, let alone in our homes, if they were trying to sexually solicit our children, but with the internet and apps like Snapchat, that is exactly what we are doing if we aren't vigilant," said Deddens.

The 36-year-old will have his initial hearing in the case today, April 3.
