The state's jobless rate remains lower than the national rate.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – Indiana’s unemployment rate was unchanged last month.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says the state’s jobless rate was at 3.2 percent in October.
While the unemployment rate remains unchanged from September, Indiana’s jobless rate does remain lower than the national rate of 3.6 percent.
Indiana’s labor force currently stands at 3.38 million, and the state’s 64.4 percent labor force participation rate remains above the national rate of 63.3 percent.
Among neighboring states, Indiana had the best unemployment rate in October.
Illinois had an unemployment rate of 3.9 percent, followed by Michigan at 4.1 percent Ohio at 4.2 percent and Kentucky at 4.3 percent.
Local unemployment numbers will be released on Wednesday at noon.
