Resulted in 20 criminal arrests.

(Madison, Ind.) - On Friday, June 12, Indiana State Police Troopers focused their enforcement efforts on conducting a criminal patrol in Madison.
Troopers conducted traffic stops to identify and take enforcement action on impaired drivers and those who were participating in criminal activity on roadways in Jefferson County.
The patrol resulted in:
- 28 Warnings
- 12 Citations
- 20 Criminal Arrests
- 9 felonies/11 misdemeanors
- 1 Operating While Intoxicated Arrest
Criminal arrests were made on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of legend drug, possession of marijuana, trafficking with an inmate, and battery on a public official.
Troopers will continue to conduct targeted enforcement patrols in different communities around the district in an effort to make our communities and roads safer.
