INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) state tournament will be held March 8, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

This is the 19th tournament held by the program since the first in 2005. The fairgrounds’ Elements Blue Ribbon and Champions pavilions will host the NASP® Bullseye and NASP®/IBO 3D tournaments, the branded names of the events.

Schools across the state that have the program as part of their curriculum were eligible to compete in this year’s qualifiers that were held from January 1 through February 2. After the qualifiers, nearly 2,100 students were invited to compete in the NASP® Bullseye Tournament. The NASP®/IBO 3D Tournament will host more than 700 students.

Admission to the event is $10 per person, and children under 4th grade are admitted free. Parking costs $10 per vehicle. Additional information is at indiananasp.com.

Indiana NASP® is provided for schools across the state through the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Law Enforcement. The state’s program started in 2005 with 10 pilot schools and now has more than 600 schools in Indiana trained to deliver the program. More than 80,000 Indiana students have benefited.
