Indiana Move Over Law Amended

This law is to help prevent crashes

                                    move over

On July 1, IN's Move Over Law was amended. The law now requires all motorists to move over or slow down when approaching a disabled vehicle (with flashing hazard lights). If unable to safely move over, drivers should reduce speed to least 10 mph below the posted speed limit.
