INDIANPOLIS – Volunteers are needed to count Hoosiers experiencing homelessness.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) and partner agencies across the state are seeking volunteers to conduct a one-night count of the homeless population.

Volunteers are needed in every county on January 25.

Those interested in volunteering can register here. Registration closes on January 20.

A volunteer webinar will be held on January 11 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Registration links will be provided by local PIT Coordinators.

"Collaboration at the state, regional, and local levels are important in the fight to end homelessness here in Indiana," said Jacob Sipe, executive director of IHCDA. "We are proud to collaborate with many great partners who share IHCDA’s mission of providing housing opportunities, promoting self-sufficiency, and strengthening communities."
