HVL Polar Plunge, 50th Anniversary Celebration Helps Usher in New Year

The event will take place Saturday.

(Hidden Valley, Ind.) – An annual tradition will help kickoff 2022 in Hidden Valley.

Hidden Valley Lake’s Polar Bear Plunge and 50th Anniversary Celebration takes place on Saturday, January 1 at Hidden Valley Lake Beach.

A special 50th anniversary kickoff celebration will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the upper beach shelter to unveil the new 50th logo and year of celebrations.

At noon, hundreds of participants will plunge into Hidden Valley Lake as a fun and chilly way to ring in the New Year.

The event is free to attend.
