Hundreds Of Volunteers Will Feed Those In Need This Thanksgiving

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Hundreds of volunteers will make sure those in need get a good meal this Thanksgiving.

The fourth annual Feeding Those in Need event helps put a meal on the tables of those who might otherwise go without. The program was founded by Grand Buffet and Wang’s Hot Chicken owner Kevin Wang.

Last year, around 1,000 people were fed in Dearborn, Ohio and Ripley counties.

Event organizers expect that number to grow over 1,100 this year.

Not only will more people be fed this Thanksgiving, but the number of volunteers has grown since last year. Over 250 volunteers will either help deliver meals or have donated desserts, up from around 150 volunteers last year.

Meals will be delivered Wednesday, November 27

SEIOC, the Clearinghouse, local schools, churches and other non-profit organizations help determine where meals are delivered.
