A ribbon-cutting event will be held in September.

(Greendale, Ind.) - Hoosier Hills Credit Union (HHCU) will open its newest service center this fall at 317 Ridge Avenue in Greendale, IN.

In addition to the existing regional HHCU Service Center located in the St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital at 600 Wilson Creek Road, Lawrenceburg, the newly renovated Greendale facility will serve communities in Dearborn, Switzerland, Ohio, and surrounding counties. The Greendale facility marks the 10th service center in Central and Southern Indiana for Bedford-based Hoosier Hills Credit Union.

A September ribbon-cutting and weeklong new member appreciation grand opening will include light refreshments and an HHCU t-shirt giveaway, along with other merchandise.

“We are absolutely thrilled to expand on our mission to make a positive difference in our members’ lives and communities with the opening of our new Greendale facility,” said Travis Markley, President and CEO of Hoosier Hills Credit Union. “Community commitment is at the heart of everything we do, and we appreciate the decades of trust our members have placed in us.”

The HHCU mission to make a positive difference in the lives of its members and communities is evident by its commitment to the philanthropic Pledge 1% program. HHCU was the first credit union in the nation to join the program, and annually devotes 1% of net income to non-profit organizations and charitable causes across our footprint. HHCU was recently recognized by Forbes as one of three Best-In-State Credit Unions for 2023 in Indiana.

The roots of what would one day become Hoosier Hills Credit Union stretch back to a General Motors breakroom in 1969 when employees pooled funds to provide Bedford-area co-workers with a trusted source for loans. Since that humble beginning, Hoosier Hills Credit Union has grown into a respected regional financial institution with over 36,500 members and more than $880 million in assets. Thanks to a consistent focus on outstanding service and community support, membership grew more than 9% in 2022.

The Greendale full-service center will have state-of-the-art technology, drive-thru, and a smart ATM housed separately behind the facility to limit congestion. A comprehensive suite of mortgage services, commercial banking options, insurance and investments will also be offered. The new Hoosier Hills Credit Union Service Center will increase and diversify financial offerings for area residents and businesses with free interest-bearing checking and savings accounts, online and mobile banking, mobile check deposit, financial budgeting/planning tools, fraud protection, and ACH, wire, and payroll

processing for businesses. HHCU offers highly competitive rates on certificates of deposit, money market accounts, IRAs, health savings accounts and credit cards, with easy online and mobile banking available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“We look forward to supporting and empowering businesses with convenient, simple solutions,” Markley said. “Competitive loan and savings rates and exceptional, personal attention will enable local businesses to grow.”

Katee Goodpaster, Vice President of Operations for Lawrenceburg and Greendale, and her experienced team of associates are eager to serve members from the Greendale service center. “My team and I look forward to providing outstanding, knowledgeable, personal service and advising our members on their path to financial success,” Goodpaster said.
