David Brown has been safely located in Whitley County, KY. His family has been notified.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office says they have received information that Brown has been using his credit card at truck stops near the Kentucky/Tennessee border.
Outside of his diagnosis, Brown is not believed to be in any danger at this time.

(Union, Ky.) - Last night, Boone County Sheriff's Office deputies issued a Golden Alert for a missing Union, KY man that has dementia.
David L. Brown, 81, was last seen yesterday at 10:00 AM and is believed to be driving a white, 2017 Ford Escape with the Kentucky Registration of 050WEM.
Brown fits the description as a white male, 5’9”, gray hair, blue eyes and is possibly wearing a bright orange jacket along with a NASA baseball cap with an image of a space shuttle on it.
Brown has been diagnosed with Dementia and does not have any medication with him.
He tends to visit restaurants and gas stations regularly.
If you have seen or have any information on the whereabouts of David Brown, call 911 immediately. Brown will be entered into a national database that can be accessed by any member of law enforcement throughout the country.
