Hebron Home Damaged By Fire

(Hebron, Ky.) - A home in Hebron went up in flames Saturday.

 

The single-story house fire occurred on Watts Avenue, just off Petersburg Road, around 6:00 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire involvement.

 

The Hebron Fire Protection District said there was a report that two occupants may have been trapped inside the burning building. A search by firefighters found the home was empty.

 

The home sustained heavy damage from the blaze.

 

A cause is still under investigation.

 

Hebron firefighters were assisted at the scene by firefighters from Burlington.
