Greensburg Policeman Found Dead In Home

(Greensburg, Ind.) - A Greensburg, Indiana police officer is dead after a shooting at his home Tuesday evening.

Indiana State Police were called to the home of 42-year-old Greensburg Police Lieutenant Larry G. Dance on 1708 N. Tyrel Avenue West at about 8:30 p.m. Dance was found dead there.

State police investigators have not said if Dance’s death is a suicide, homicide, or accident. An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday in Indianapolis.

“At this time this investigation remains active and no further information will be released prior to the autopsy,” said an ISP news release.
