Vehicle thefts were reported last Friday in Greendale
(Greendale, Ind.) - Greendale Police have provided an update regarding a string of vehicle thefts that took place last Friday, July 31.
Between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., multiple unlocked vehicles were either stolen, stolen and dumped in other areas or gone through with money taken from the vehicles.

The last vehicle taken was not left behind was last detected on Flock cameras around Springfield Township, Ohio.
According to Greendale Police, it has been determined that this is a multi-jurisdictional criminal activity across southeast Indiana and southwest Ohio.
The thefts are actively being investigated by agencies within Ohio and Indiana, including Greendale Police Department.
"As always, residents are strongly encouraged to keep doors locked and valuables out of plain view. In addition, if anyone observes any suspicious activity, notify your local law enforcement agency right away," reads a statement from Greendale Police.
