(Milan, Ind.) - Three student athletes have earned weekly honors from the Mid-Indiana Football Conference.
Matthew Field is the Week 4 MIFC Offensive Player of the Week. The North Decatur quarterback was perfect in an 80-0 win over Brown County. Field went 7-for-7 for 201 yards and five passing touchdowns.
Milan linebacker JJ Mutz is the MIFC Defensive Player of the Week. Mutz recorded 10 total tackles, including 2.5 for a loss, and 1.5 sacks. He also had a pressure and a pass break up.
Mason Hempfling is the MIFC Special Teams Player of the Week. The Switzerland County kicker made a 42-yard field goal, setting a new school record for the longest field goal in program history.
