The water might still be a little cold, but you can hit the river with Green Acres Canoe Rental starting May 8.

(Whitewater Township, Oh.) - It’s a sure sign of summer.
Canoeing and kayaking returns to the Whitewater River on Wednesday as Green Acres Canoe Rental opens for their 2019 season.
The business would have opened last weekend, but the high river level prevented that. The water is still a bit cold, so Green Acres is restricting trips to people age 16 or older until it warms up.
Green Acres Canoe Rental says it has added a new five-mile option for canoers and kayakers this year, in addition to the established eight-mile and three-mile trips.
