GoFundMe Launched To Assist Family Of John Werner

The remains of the St. Leon man were found last week on Trackville Road.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – A GoFundMe page has been set up to help offset funeral costs for a St. Leon man that was found dead last week.

John Werner went missing in February. His remains were located at a property on Trackville Road last week after construction crews located a skull near the road.

The Werner family has received an outpouring of support from the community throughout the past several months.

Via the GoFundMe page, the Werner family extended thanks to the community and said, “please, please if you are struggling mentally just ask for help.”

Now, as his family prepares to give him a proper memorial, a family friend has set up a GoFundMe to help offset the costs.

To date, over $6,400 has been raised towards a $12,000 goal.
