(Ripley County, IN) - Genesis: Pathways to Success is excited to announce its summer interns for 2026: Owen Eldridge, Renee’ Lecher, Kate Weber, and Josie Wolfe. These interns will assist in the marketing, development, and implementation of Genesis’ largest programming: A Summer of STREAM.

Owen Eldridge, a new intern at Genesis, will serve as the Marketing and Communications Intern. In this role, Eldridge is tasked with the marketing and execution of Genesis’s summer programming through writing and distributing press releases and blog posts, assisting with social media, and aiding A Summer of STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics) camps.

When asked about what he hopes to learn through Genesis: Pathways to Success, Eldridge stated, “I hope to grow my skills in marketing and communication, but at the same time grow my network of people and help my community grow that I hope to work in one day.”

Eldridge is an incoming sophomore at Purdue University-West Lafayette, where he is pursuing a degree in Sales and Marketing. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing basketball, golf, and going out with friends.

Renee’ Lecher, Kate Weber, and Josie Wolfe serve as Summer Program and Engagement Interns with Genesis: Pathways to Success, supporting the organization’s “A Summer of STREAM” program. In their roles, they will assist with planning and implementing summer camps by organizing materials and helping create engaging hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and mathematics. As Camp Counselors, they will also make a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment while working alongside educators and volunteers to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

Renee’ Lecher is an incoming junior at Indiana University Columbus studying communications. She plays softball for IUC and enjoys acting in theatre, as well as writing and editing movie scripts. When asked what attracted her to Genesis: Pathways to Success she stated, “Genesis stood out to me because of its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for students and making a positive impact in the community. I was excited by the chance to be part of an organization that helps young people learn, grow, and succeed.”

Kate Weber is returning to Genesis: Pathways to Success as a Summer Program and Engagement Intern. Reflecting on her return, Weber shared, “I am excited to return for another summer as an intern and continue building on the experiences and relationships that made last summer so meaningful.”

Weber is an incoming junior at Indiana University Indianapolis pursuing a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Outside of school, she enjoys long-distance running, playing pickleball with friends, and baking and cooking new recipes.

Joining Weber and Lecher this summer is Josephine Wolfe, who is eager to gain hands-on experience working within a nonprofit setting while helping create meaningful experiences for camp participants. “I hope to learn more about being part of a nonprofit organization and gain valuable insight into the effort and planning that happens behind the scenes of A Summer of STREAM,” Wolfe said. “I look forward to working directly with students and building meaningful connections along the way.”

Wolfe currently attends Marian University, where she is pursuing a degree in Theology with minors in Education and Theater. In her free time, she enjoys running, spending time by the pool, and being outdoors. She recently completed a mini-marathon.

Clarice Gordon, Executive Director of Genesis: Pathways to Success, stated, "It is a privilege to welcome such a talented group of young leaders to our team this summer. Their fresh perspectives and passion for service are a perfect match for the Genesis mission. By offering these high-level internships, Genesis: Pathways to Success ensures that students can bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world philanthropy, and we are eager to see the innovation they bring to our busiest season yet."
