(Friendship, Ind.) - It was a beautiful day for a ride.

The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Benefit Ride was a huge success on Saturday.

The event brought out more than 330 units to raise funds to support the fire department’s operating and project funding.

In a Facebook post, Friendship Volunteer Fire Department made the following statement:

“We are again humbled and grateful for the support that our community shows us time and again. From the sponsors, to the wives and children of the firemen, to the friends that came to help, to our great chicken frying friends and to each and everyone that came out to ride, eat and share the day with us, we can only say thank you, thank you, thank you! While we had some bumps in the road, we could not have pulled this off without everyone's help!”
