(Friendship, Ind.) – Two local fire departments were dispatched to a structure fire on Wednesday evening.
Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, along with Versailles Fire Rescue, responded to the fire around 7:10 p.m. at an undisclosed location.
Upon arrival, a small shed was located fully involved with a 500-gallon propane tank as a primary exposure.
Firefighters say the tank was releasing propane through the pressure relief valve which was then burning off. Crews worked for nearly four hours to extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading to a nearby home.
No injuries were reported.
