Freezing Rain Could Complicate Morning Commute

A rain and snow mix is possible Thursday morning, the National Weather Service says.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - You could encounter some slick roads on your Thursday morning commute.

Snow is expected to accumulate below one inch, meteorologists warn. It has been enough to force a two-hour delay for Southwest Local School District.

The snow will turn to rain this afternoon as the day's high temperature will reach near 40.

The National Weather Service is also sounding the alarm about a potential significant snow event this coming Saturday night. It will be closely followed by a drastic drop in temperatures into the single digits as an arctic air mass moves in.
