(Brookville, Ind.) - Franklin County Clerk Ruth Rowlett has released important dates and information regarding the upcoming General Election.
Monday, October 5 is the last day to register to vote for the November 3 General Election. Prospective voters may register at the Clerk’s Office at Franklin County Courthouse, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM or online at https://indianavoters.in.gov/.
Voting in person at the Courthouse will begin Tuesday, October 6. Voting will take place in the Election Room on the first floor.

- October 13-16: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- October 19-23: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- October 22: 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- October 24: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- October 26-30: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- October 29: 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- October 31: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- November 2: 8:30 AM to noon

Absentee Voting
To receive an Absentee ballot, you must first submit an absentee application form in person, by phone, by mail or by email. An absentee application can be requested from the Clerk’s Office or online. https://indianavoters.in.gov/

DEADLINE: October 22 by 11:59 PM, for the circuit court clerk to receive an absentee application requesting delivery of an absentee ballot by mail, email or fax.
ABSENTEE VOTING BY TRAVELING BOARD
The Franklin County Clerk’s Office is currently accepting absentee applications to VOTE BY TRAVELING BOARD. This method is for a confined voter, a voter caring for a confined person, a voter with disabilities to vote an absentee ballot before an absentee voter board at voter place of confinement within Franklin County.
The first day TRAVEL BOARD VOTING will begin on October 15 and will continue until the deadline date November 3.
You may obtain the VOTE BY TRAVELING BOARD absentee application by contacting the Clerk’s Office at 765-647-5111 ext. 3 or by logging onto the State of Indiana’s Website: https://indianavoters.in.gov/

ABSENTEE VOTING BY MILITARY/OVERSEAS FPCA
You may obtain the MILITARY/OVERSEAS absentee application by contacting the Clerk’s Office at 765-647-5111 ext. 3 or by logging onto the State of Indiana’s Website: https://indianavoters.in.gov/
Also, military personnel should be able to go to their base commanding office and get absentee forms.
Printed forms may be mailed, faxed or emailed back to the Clerk’s Office.
Military/Overseas voters do have the option of voting by mail, fax or email. Mailed ballots would need to be requested as soon as possible.
DEADLINE: The last day to submit an absentee application for MILITARY/OVERSEAS requesting to vote by email/fax is October 22 at 12:00 p.m. (NOON)
