(Dillsboro, Ind.) - Four people were injured this morning in a two-vehicle accident near Dillsboro.
Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the accident at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Farmers Retreat Road last Thursday around 7:38 a.m.
According to a news release, Liana Sohmer was traveling eastbound on U.S. 50 when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old juvenile attempted to cross U.S. 50 and struck the driver’s side of Sohmer’s vehicle.
The juvenile was airlifted to UC Medical Center with unknown injuries. Sohmer and two juveniles were transported to St. Elizabeth Dearborn.
Ripley County EMS, Milan Fire, Friendship Fire, UC AirCare, and Milan Police assisted at the scene.
