Former NFL Player Rocky Boiman To Speak At 2018 Harrison Sports Stag

By Travis Thayer (Harrison, Oh.) – Fans who attend the annual Harrison Sports Stag will be treated to stories from a former Super Bowl champion. The Harrison Athletic Boosters will hold the 2018 Sports Stag on Thursday, February 22 at the Harrison Blue Note, 9660 Dry Fork Road. The featured speaker will be former NFL linebacker Rocky Boiman. Boiman, who played his high school ball at St. Xavier in Cincinnati, went on to play four years of college football at Notre Dame. In 2002, the Tennessee Titans selected Boiman in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. Boiman would play eight seasons in the NFL with the Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The highlight of Boiman’s career likely came in 2006 when he won Super Bowl XLI as a member of the Indianapolis Colts. Boiman, who now makes a living as a radio show host and analyst, will share his many experiences at the Harrison Sports Stag – which is a major fundraising event for William Henry Harrison High School sports. All Wildcat dads, alumni and supporters are welcome, but must be 21 to attend. General admission is $60 per person and includes a buffet dinner, draft beer or soft drinks, raffles and split the pot. VIP tickets are $115 per person and includes the general admission package plus a Harrison tumble, and a meet and greet session with Boiman. Tickets can be ordered online at www.harrisonathleticboosters.com or via email at harrisonathleticstag@gmail.com.
