Flu Shots Available At Margaret Mary Health Starting Oct. 1

Flu season is right around the corner. Don't wait, get vaccinated.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Flu season is right around the corner and again this year, Margaret Mary Health recommends the flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting yourself.

Effective October 1, the flu vaccine is available at Margaret Mary's Occupational Health and Wellness Center located on State Road 229 in Batesville, behind First Financial Bank.

The flu vaccine is covered by most insurance plans but Margaret Mary Health recommends patients call their insurance company in advance to verify coverage. 

Patients should also bring insurance cards with them to their appointment. For those who do not have insurance coverage, the flu vaccine may be available for free to those who qualify. 

Appointments are required and can be made by calling 812-932-5105.
