(Wilmington, Oh.) - An Extreme Cold Warning and Cold Weather Advisory remain in effect until noon today for the tri-state area.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, dangerously cold wind chills could reach as low as 25 below zero.
The Cold Weather Advisory runs from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday to noon Wednesday. For the advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero are expected.
The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.
