A Florence man was struck by a bullet while driving on I-75 Monday night.

(Erlanger, Ky.) – Erlanger Police are investigating a highway shooting on Interstate 75.
Police were dispatched to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence on Monday around 9:20 p.m. in reference to a patient stating that he was shot while traveling on I-75 near Erlanger.
Steven Mains, 42, told police he was traveling along I-75 with his family when a vehicle cut in front of him. Moments later, Mains stated he heard a loud bang.
The bang came from a gunshot that struck Mains. He was driven to St. Elizabeth where he was treated and released.
Erlanger Police describe the suspect vehicle as a small passenger car with square headlights.
