(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The annual Rising Sun Summer Fest will take place Saturday, June 7 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Main and Poplar streets in downtown Rising Sun.

This year's entertainment lineup includes live performances from JAMBOX: A Tribute to the 70s and 80s from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. CRUSH, the Bon Jovi Concert Experience Performance, takes the stage from 8:30 to 10:00.

Rising Sun Summer Fest will also include a variety of food trucks, arts and crafts, a Kids Zone, a professional face painter, and meet and greets from Bumblebee, the yellow Transformer, and two baby dinosaur puppets

"I think Bumblebee, the yellow transformer, and the baby dinosaurs are going to be fun and perfect for souvenir photos,” said Kendal Miller, Ohio County Tourism executive director and one of the event organizers.

Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs. Miller said that there is still information and arts & crafts vendor space available for $25 each. The approximate 10’ X 15’ area is offered on a first-come, first-paid basis. Applications and guidelines are available by e-mailing Kendal Miller at kendal@enjoyrisingsun.com.

Vendors must be pre-approved to avoid duplication of products and merchandise. Electric and water is not available. Information can be found on the Rising Sun Summer Fest-Rising Sun, IN, and Rising Sun-Ohio County Tourism Facebook pages
