EC's junior and senior teams finished in the top 6 at a recent event in Butlerville.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – Two East Central FFA teams will soon compete at the state level.
East Central FFA juniors and seniors competed in the Area One Soils Evaluation Career Development Event at the Southeast Purdue Agriculture Center in Butlerville on September 29.
The team of Jake Lutz, Tyler Stenger, Peyton Zinser, and Emily Stenger was EC’s top placing team, coming in second place overall.
Seniors Bradley Kolb, Lewis Darringer, Abby Vendler, and Riley Schumate placed 6th out of 20 teams.
Both teams qualified for the state competition, which will be held on October 16 in Dubois County.
Individually, EC’s top placing junior contestant was Wyatt Bischoff (5th overall). Bradley Kolb was the top placing senior, coming in 11th place.
