Eagle 99.3's Bubba Bo Grand Marshal Of Gravelrama Parade

By Mike Perleberg Bubba Bo will lead the Gravelrama Parade as it's grand marshal on Wednesday, August 20 at 6:30 p.m. in Cleves. (Cleves, Oh.) - You may not recognize the grand marshal’s face at the parade to open up Gravelrama 44 in Cleves next week, but you should know his voice. Eagle 99.3’s Bubba Bo has been tapped as the Gravelrama Parade grand marshal. The parade takes place Wednesday, August 20 starting at 6:30 p.m. on the streets of Cleves. “I’m looking forward to seeing the people in Cleves. This is a legendary event and we’re thrilled to be a part of it,” says Bubba Bo, a longtime radio personality in the Cincinnati area. Bubba will be riding in a jeep. He says he may try to persuade the driver to challenge the Big Eliminator Hill after the parade. Gravelrama 44 runs August 20-25. One of the most popular competitions, The Big Eliminator Hill Climb main event, happens Sunday, August 24 at noon. Drivers will try to power their off-road vehicles 150 feet up a 75 degree incline on a giant gravel hill. Here is the schedule for other events:

Bracket race – Thursday, August 21 at 4:00 p.m.

Uphill drags – Friday, August 22 at 5:00 p.m.

Flat drags – Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m.

Bob Black Eliminator – Saturday evening, August 23

Junior racing – Sunday morning, August 24

Obstacle course – Monday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m.

Jerry Zaugg Eliminator – Monday, August 25 following obstacle course

The IOK Four Wheelers Jeep Club has organized Gravelrama each year since the inaugural event in 1971.
