Driver Hospitalized After Vehicle Travels Down Hillside

Rescue crews had to traverse a steep hill to reach a crash victim.

(Aurora, Ind.) – A vehicle traveled over a steep ravine near Walmart in Aurora on Wednesday.

The vehicle was located about 200 yards off of Sycamore Estates Drive at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The driver, David Barrett, of Aurora, was found to be semi-conscious. He was transported to Highpoint Health for treatment.

Aurora Police say the crash is still under investigation.
