Boone County's annual spring clean-up is free for Boone County residents.

(Boone County, Ky.) – Its time for some spring cleaning in Boone County.
The annual Boone County Spring Clean-Up event takes place Wednesday, April 3 through Saturday, April 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
Boone County residents are encouraged to dispose of everyday junk, general trash, tires and rims, yard debris and large items, such as furniture and hot tubs.
Other accepted items include propane tanks up to 20 lbs., electronics, car and lawn batteries, and scrap metal. Disposal is free of charge.
Items can be dropped off at Boone County Public Works on Maple Wood Drive in Burlington and the former Union Pool site on Old Union Road. Paper shredding will be offered at the Burlington location.
It should be noted that liquid waste, boats, hazardous waste, paint, dirt and concrete will not be accepted.
